Our fully feathered Bobwhite quail are never exposed to
humans or dogs.
From hatching to maturity they are maintained from outside or at night . When
weather permits our birds are moved to the flight pens at 6
weeks of age. The sides of the flight pens are covered and in a remote area.
Usually by the time they are 8 weeks old they have already had to deal with
hawks, raccoons, snakes, owls, and just about anything else they may find on your place.
They learn to forage young. Aside from the regular grass and ragweed we plant
Milo, wheat , and sunflowers. Our flight
pens are large (100'x20')with plenty of room to fly and are offered both high quality game bird
feed and scratch. We guarantee these birds to be strong flyers, wild, and
healthy!
We are a family owned and operated business with
high expectations when it comes to the future of game bird hunting. Our native
wild quail are slowly dwindling and measures should be taken to establish new
coveys in appropriate areas. That takes birds which have been weathered and
raised without human contact. Our quail make very good candidates for restocking
because of their hardiness and wild behavior.
We offer our customers
the very best in flight conditioned Birds.
We are sure if you
try our Bobwhites one time, you will be back for more!!
